1. Walvis Bay Lagoon
Begin your tour at the famous Walvis Bay Lagoon, a protected wetland and home to thousands of flamingos and other bird species. Enjoy scenic views and photographic opportunities.

2. Salt Mines & Pink Lakes
Continue to the local salt pans, where the striking pink lakes provide a colorful contrast against the desert backdrop. Learn from your guide about the salt production process and the birds that thrive here.

3. Drive to Pelican Point
Travel along the west side of the lagoon towards Pelican Point, keeping an eye out for Black-backed Jackals, pelicans, and various coastal birds. Your knowledgeable guide shares insights about the wildlife and local ecosystem along the way.

4. Kayaking Experience

  • Launch from the historic old boat wreck site.

  • Receive a full kayaking briefing, including safety instructions and tips for approaching wildlife respectfully.

  • Paddle towards the old pier and experience kayaking alongside playful Cape Fur Seals in their natural habitat.

  • Guided by certified and experienced instructors, the kayaking portion lasts approximately 2–3 hours.

5. Post-Kayaking Brunch
After your kayaking adventure, relax onshore and enjoy a light brunch with local beverages while taking in the ocean views.

6. Scenic Return Journey
